Staff Selection Commission(SSC) 198 Assistant Plant Protection Officer Posts recruitment Notification 2013

Staff Selection Commission(SSC) had announced a recruitment notification to fulfill 198 posts of Assistant Plant protection Officers recently on its official Employment notification.

All the eligible candidates are advised to apply for these posts on or before 27th December, 2013 with out fail. All the Interested candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before going to apply online.

Applications are invited for the following posts under Government of India falling within the jurisdiction of Staff Selection Commission (NORTH WESTERN REGION), Chandigarh.

Eligibility Criteria:

Name Of the Posts: Assistant plant Protection officers, Investigators and Data entry Operators.
Number of Posts: Totally 198(Asst Plant protection officer(entomology/nematology)=85, Asst plant Protection Officers(Plant pathology/virology/bacteriology)=67, Asst plant Protection officer(weed science)=29, Investigator=  06, DEO=06).

Educational Qualification:
The Interested candidate should posses graduation in the relevant discipline from any of the recognized university board.

Age Limit:
Candidate must have the age limit as 25 years only for Data entry operators(DEO) Posts and for all the posts 30 years maximum.

Application fee:
The application fee is RS.50/-. Ex-service mans are exempted from the fee.

No. of Vacancy: Total: 85 (UR-46, OBC- 24, SC-11, ST-04) (Post is identified not suitable for PH candidates so they need not apply).

Selection Process:
The candidate should be selected on the basis of Written examination and personnel interview.
